Wuddup everybody. It has definitely been awhile since the Troppy Boy has spoken so I figured it might be time. A lot has happened since last July. I'm married now with one on the whaaaat..? Lol sike. Finished my first full at Big Bend Community College. We ended 26-6, were the Eastern Region Champs, and ended up getting 4th in the NWAACC out of 16 in the tourney and 32 in the conference. We started out the season a little shaky in the preseason trying to gel as a team and what not. We lost our first league game to a tough Spokane team but then ended up going on an amazing ride and winning 13 in a row to end league play and the regular season. At one point during our run we were ranked #1 in the Coach's Poll. So going into the tourney we definitely had a "championship or bust" mentality. We won the first game pretty soundly. The second game was a little bit more exciting but we pulled it out to go to the Semi Finals where we played Chemeketa. We dominated this game for about 30 minutes. We were even up 20 with about 12 minutes to play and everything was going our way. Thats when things went bad. They started to full court press, we went cold and they got hot. With about 4 to play we were still up by about 5 but eventually they ended up taking the lead on a 3 and then held on the rest of the way and we lost by 1 in one of the toughest most disappointing loss of my life. Chemeketa then went on to win the championship which made the loss that much more difficult to take. Basically all of us Big Bend'ers feel like we should be NWAACC champions right now. But... 'Tis not so. We have a pretty good team coming back next year though so we should be able to make another run at it. Our coaching staff will have us ready.
I've been working pretty hard this off season so far. I feel like I had a somewhat successful freshman season but hope for bigger and better things next year. I've been hitting the weights and getting lots of shots up just trying to overall become a better and more proficient player for us next year. Shout out to @imnumber_4; him and I are pretty much lone wolves out in Moses working out every day trying to get better. Also shout out to him for all of his accolades last season. Bigger and better things coming this year. Shout out also to Coach De Hoog for working us out. Might as well, shout to to Peter; best janitor in the whole NWAACC. Lol
So right now I have a job working on a farm in Moses Lake. It's been pretty cool so far. From Seattle so definitely not very well versed in the farming game so I thought it could be a pretty sweet experience. So far I have just been spraying weeds and washing equipment mostly. Nothing to crazy. The craziest thing so far is probably just my crucial farmers tan on my neck. Ha Like my fourth day there I definitely flipped the four wheeler that I spray weeds from. As cool as that sounds... it definitely wasn't that cool. Lol Took to big of a risk thinking I could get around one of the circles without getting too close to this slope... nope. Realized I wasn't gonna make it so I hopped off and tried to get it out and stuff thinking to myself "this thing isn't taking me with it." So eventually after trying to get it out it fell down the slope sideways and landed upside down. The four wheeler was alright but my ego was definitely damaged. Lol Everybody in Moses are pretty much farmers too so it's not like I could tell anyone... So here's my confession I guess... Lol I still have the job though and the boss wasn't too mad. So everything is good I guess. I get to wear some blue coveralls too and it makes me feel like Tyler Gage from step up... Swag??? Lol jk
So things are going pretty good. Excited to be reunited to the SBC with our new very welcomed addition, Big Popcorn. So I hope that everything is going good for everybody and hopefully I'll have something sweet to write about soon. Follow me on Instagram @troppy_boy and twitter @e. Loved my boys Stephen Curry and Nate Rob these playoffs and was sad to see them go. Go Heatles now though as far as I'm concerned. Until next time... Stay classy I guess.
Peaceeee

P.S. shout out to my babe sisters who im home with this weekend. #murrrr #shmooter..?

Bloggers and Bloggerette's
It's been awhile. I just got done reading "Don't Put Me In Coach" by Mark Titus. Super funny. It had me laughing out loud on multiple occasions. Well anyways, if/after you read it, you'll understand how it inspired me to continue writing on my blog. Shout out to Club Trillion. It's been awhile since my last post and I was pretty pumped to find that my blog is still here and that I didn't have to make a new one.
My summer has been a pretty relaxing one. Since I decided to take a quarter off from school and come home in March to try to sort my life out a little bit, it has been just my parents, Bruce and Kelly, and my 10 year old sister, Halli, and I at home. Now some of you may be thinking, "What's the big deal with that..?" Well it isn't really that big of a deal I guess. I'm just not used to such a quiet house OR getting this much attention from my parents. Not only because I grew up with 5 siblings and I running around the house but also because I was the 3rd of 6 declaring me as the "neglected middle-child" right..? So it's just been a little bit different. Im not used to 10:30 feeling late or being the only child in the house that my parents can have an adult conversation with. It's been fun though.
My summer has mostly been taken up with work, working out to prepare for next season at BBCC, and basically veg'ing(vej-ing-verb: sitting on the couch watching t.v. with a computer open in front of you.) Now, to all you haters out there, I have usually tried to make my veg'ing as productive as possible. There have been instances where people have asked me how my day was and what I had done and I would tell them, "I attended the U of You today. Learned a lot." Now some of you may be wondering what exactly the "U of You" is and some of you may know exactly what I am talking about. For those of you who don't know, the "U of You" is what I have proclaimed as the University of Youtube; A.K.A. I go on YouTube.com and watch videos. I attend there regularly. Now, while I do learn many things that arent of very much worth while attending such as why Carmelo Anthony cut his hair and that my 547 lines on tetris.org isn't as good as I thought it was, I have also learned valuables such as how to do the dougie( which I still don't really know how to do), and how to perform a wisdom tooth/open heart surgery. Basically what I'm trying to say is... I probably don't learn about very important things while in my attending the U of You. But, no, that will not stop me from continuing to get endless thrills from the opportunity to watch these videos. I am convinced that if any of you are looking down on me for this, it can only be because you have never taken the time to fully appreciate youtube... because it is the truth. Wikipedia has always been there for me too. So I can figure out things like if Coco Crisp's real name is actually Coco. Well, for those of you who are wondering... it's not. His name is actually Covelli Crisp. See, productive right..?
Anyways, basically what I'm also trying to say is that my summer has been pretty good so far. I expect it to pick up here pretty quickly though as Lindsi, Brady, and Blake are returning home shortly. Lets just say im pretty excited about that. Somewhat about the summer picking up part but mostly just excited for them to be coming home. Yessirrrr!!!!!
Well that's pretty much all I've got for now. I just started a job delivering pizza for Papa John's so i could possibly have some entertaining stories that I can share from that in the near future. Lets hope so anyways. Until something exciting happens though, keep it real and as Chris Rene would say, "Love Life!"
Peaceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

What's up fam...
A few of my friends have been blogging as of late so I guess I've decided to hop on the wagon. I don't really know much about blogging or what people are supposed to blog about but I figured I could just share some of the things that happens in the life of Trev and some of my thoughts. Hopefully to at least just have a good time and maybe even be able to bring some type of smirk or chuckle to your faces every once in awhile with some of what happens in my daily life or by something stupid that I say. Either way, I love when I am able to be myself and when I can "let my hair down." So I'm just gonna try to keep it real, raw, and un-cut and hopefully in those attempts, something good will happen. In the mean time, keep it real and and do whatever you gotta do to be happy. Anyways, I'm out. Peaceeeeeee.
